Sexy Babydoll for every girl
A babydoll is a very short nightgown or negligee that usually comes with matching panties. Babydolls are often made in empire-waist style but can go in other styles as well.
They include form-fitting cups with thin straps, and loose-fitting fabric that falls somewhere between the hips and the belly button. The legs are fully displayed and some styles emphasize or deliberately expose the breasts too.
Babydolls are typically trimmed with lace, ruffles, marabou fur, bows and ribbons, and are made of sheer fabric, like nylon, chiffon or silk.
The babydoll is said to have been popularized by the 1956 movie Baby Doll starring Carol Baker in the title role.
The film starts with Baker lying on her bed wearing the piece of lingerie. Although the babydoll looks very modest for contemporary standards of lingerie, it was extremely risqué for the time.
Due to that the movie was widely condemned by the Catholic Church.
