Agent Provocateur Soiree: First Look
Agent Provocateur announced launch of the newest VIP collection, Agent Provocateur Soiree, a month ago promising to give the exclusive look at the line during New York Fashion Week on September 9, 2009.
The line was presented in Soho Grand Hotel mesmerizing the audience with the sophistication and posh chic of the exclusive lingerie pieces.
The line that was originally described as “kinky couture” and hailed as the “most exquisite lingerie in the world” consists of risque nipple caps, corsets including a leather corset with metal spikes, nightgowns, garters and cupless bras.
Made in the couture tradition, it is a collection of the best made, highest quality pieces aimed at a customer who is looking for something for a special, fantasy evening,” said Joe Corre, designer Vivienne Westwood’s son and founder of Agent Provocateur. “Agent Provocateur Soiree is the pinnacle of fantasy and luxury.”
The press show presented models in hand-beaded French Leavers lace, Swarovski crystal strands and silk brocades.
Agent Provocateur Soiree is a pretty pricey line with most special pieces reaching $4,000 mark, but the company believes Soiree’s customer is the one for whom “money is no object.”
The line will be presented November 1st in London’s Harrods and then sell in 10 selected stores round the world including Harrods and Selfridges in London, boutiques in Manchester, New York, LA, Munich, Moscow and Dubai.
