New Spring-Summer 2012 Lingerie collection by Stella McCartney is made of soft lace, vintage prints, deep and exquisite tones raging from cobalt blue to coral red to eclectic blue. Sensual, contemporary and a little retro, the underwear line created by the British fashion mogul McCartney concentrates on floral printed silk, refined fancywork,and jewel-like décor. All the lingerie garments are made of such luxurious materials as lace, silk, chiffon, tulle and mesh.

Altogether there are 14 style ranges in the collection, but that includes the bridal range Josephine Marrying that debuted last summer, and recent charmers like last year’s wonderful Elodie Hopping set and Sam Partying. The very fashion-forward Anna Glowing range, the coral Jane Snuggling racerback bra, and the lovely vintage floral print in the new Ilda Driving range, which looks like it could double as beachwear are amazing!

Stella’s color palette for 2012 leans toward the understated, with a lot of rose, salmon, stone and nude hues — plus the perfect creamy blush shade of the Josephine bridal grouping. One must admit that Stella McCartney’s lingerie is fashionable without being too revealing, pretty without being too girlish. And, of course, there are those silly-but-lovable style names that everyone loves to talk about!
