Christian Lacroix Lingerie And Swimwear Collections For Spring 2012
Cristian Lacroix reopened brand has set their eyes on a more mass-oriented market incorporating the Lacroix style and new strategies to womanswear and menswear. They revealed Lingerie and Swimwear Collections for Spring/Summer 2012. The lingerie and swimwear lines were made in a collaboration with French lingerie brand Lejaby.
The Mantille lingerie collection is said to be detailed with Chantilly lace and pleated tulle. The set in white from the shot of ad campaign shows beautiful and delicate detailing on the bra cups that are made of cheeky sheer mesh while intricate detailing gives it a more modest look. Tiny panty made of same sheer mesh is decorated at the sides. The lingerie looks more than promising and we are truly excited for it to come out.
The swimwear collection called Montecarlo is bold and colorful. The piece featured from the ad campaign is delightful. It’s bright red print is eye catchy while the design is sexy and dramatic. Both lingerie and swimwear feature plunging necks in the bra while tiny bikini briefs elongate legs for an ultimately sexy look.
The brand itself states that “the aim was that the girls would really want to wear it, rather than just look at it.” We guess they’ve reached their goal. Lingerie as well as swimwear looks not only beautiful and stylish, it is also wearable and comfy. The Christian Lacroix style incorporated into every day wear is a great move. Cristian Lacroix Lingerie And Swimwear Collections For Spring 2012 will hit stores in January.
