Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to Design Lingerie Line for Marks & Spencer
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is set to design her own line of lingerie for British retailer Marks & Spencer. Inspired by the 1920s era, the 33-piece lingerie capsule collection will launch in M&S stores and online in September. The Rosie for Autograph collection will feature silk lingerie sets, camisoles and kimono style robes that will feature rose-print motifs and deco-inspired detailing. Rosie has proven pretty good at modelling undies in her time – be it for Victoria’s Secret, Agent Provocateur or Autograph for M&S. But now the Burberry face and body is turning her hand to design, teaming up with the high street stalwarts to create her own Rosie for Autograph.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is to make her design debut with an exclusive collection of lingerie for Marks & Spencer
The model says:
M&S is an iconic British brand, adored by many so I’m very excited to be launching my debut lingerie line with them. I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with the design team to create my dream collection, and I’m looking forward to a fun and creative time ahead.”
Marks & Spencer’s executive director of clothing, Kate Bostock, said M&S was “so pleased” to have Rosie on board. She says:
She really understands beautiful lingerie and what works on the body. With all her modelling experience she has great eye for colour and style which, coupled with our extensive knowledge in lingerie design and technique, is a winning formula that we can’t wait to share with our customers.”
Rosie, who has been working as a model with M&S for the past two seasons, recently starred with Ryan Reynolds in the successful television campaign for Autograph.
Huntington-Whiteley made her Sunday Times Rich List debut this year with an estimated wealth of £5 million, and recently joined Twitter to share her stylish goings-on with fans who were quick to follow her page. It looks like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, the brand, is set for world domination.
