Mad Men star and one of the most voluptuous actresses of the day, Christina Hendricks, 34, covers the Spring Fashion Issue of New York Magazine, on newsstands since yesterday.

For the cover shoot, Christina stripped down to her underwear flaunting her curves and gorgeous red hair. Lace embellished corset looks terrific!

In her interview for the publication Christina addresses the body issue saying most of people notice her curves and not her talent:

Sadly there’s very little information available but we’re happy to spread this fashion-meets-underwear news!

One of the most talented designers of the day Marc Jacobs is working on his debut lingerie collection. Yeah! Can’t wait to see all the edgy designs he’ll come up with.

WWD.com broke the news at the end of last week citing Marc Jacob’s company president Robert Duffy as the source of information.

According to Duffy, the line will debut in spring 2011.

Nothing is revealed about the line yet but we have the whole year to go!

Twilight Saga hunk Kellan Lutz and his True Blood fellow actor Mehcad Brooks are featured in the first photos from Calvin Klein’s X Underwear campaign.

The new campaign also features tennis pro Fernando Verdasco and Japanese athlete Hidetoshi Nakata, but Kellan and Mehcad’s ads are the first to be revealed.

In the new ads the actors are spotted wearing CK’s underwear that’s made of cotton modal (for softness and breathability) and premium microfiber. Every pair of pants features an embossed ‘X’ over the Calvin Klein logo on the waistband’s front patch.

As to the ad campaign, CK Underwear CCO Bob Mazzoli said the company was “thinking bold, graphic, and provocative, as always.”

Meeting George Clooney last July was the best thing that has ever happened to Italian model and TV presenter Elizabetta Canalis, 31.

One of the few good things that have happened to her ever since is her new deal with famous Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli that has named her the new face of Spring 2010 underwear collection. The new seasn ads were shot in November 2009 by renowned fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Pigott.

Roberto Cavalli said:

For my next underwear collection I was inspired by a real woman, with appeal, charisma, and sensuality. I was sure Elisabetta was just perfect for enhancing the spirit of this advertising campaign…and I was not wrong!”

We were speechless for a little while when we just saw this new “progressive and functional” lingerie piece from Jeannine Han and Umlaut Brikauski, called The Hood Thong.

The name basically embraces the essence but still, our slightly conventional minds (as it’s turned out to be) can hardly imagine how one can wear this underwear piece in public. Multiple sources claim the Thong to be a perfect Lady GaGa style match but we’re still doubtful GaGa can go THAT risque in her fashion-forward and critics-fearless style.

In October we reported that iconic French designer Sonia Rykiel teamed up with H & M for a lingerie collection to be debuted December 5, 2009.

While the range hits H & M stores tomorrow, the collection was previewed earlier this week in Paris drawing a lot of attention to a spectacular fashion show.

Riding giant horses, frolicking on silk bed linen and enjoying themselves on swings, models, Lily Cole among them, sported the 50s-style underwear, racy suspenders and sexy negligees.

This is a totally modern, new kind of lingerie look, and when we started to work with Rykiel on it, we just couldn’t stop,” H&M’s creative advisor, Margareta van den Bosch said. “It’s a wonderful highlight of our main collection.”

Kate Moss has something for you to feast your eyes on this holiday season. The supermodel’s latest collection for Topshop also includes Holiday ‘09 nightwear and lingerie line.

The line is vintage inspired with evident oriental influence in what refers to fabrics – satin prevails – and prints that Moss used in previous collections – vintage rose and swarms of butterflies.

The line features a kimono bed jacket, silky slips, chiffon teddies (”which I couldn’t find anywhere,” Kate said) and vintage-style bras and underwear.

I love beautiful nightwear, it makes you feel great. Over the years, I’ve collected millions of vintage slips, nighties, camis and bed jackets. Who doesn’t want fab nightwear for Christmas?” Kate Moss gushed in the interview.

Well, probably long enough! I took [my sons'] ideas on board and now we seem to have very tiny knickers and bras that show a lot of cleavage. But at the heart of the collection, it’s still a bit of a giggle.”

The main trick of these bras, panties and babydolls is that they look like a normal set by day, but if they are held against a light for two minutes, they glow green in the dark.
