It’s all about sheer fabrics and lace in Bare Necessities Spring 2010 collection.

Delicate and very feminine designs look their best when made in black lace. Revealing yet modest, these bras, panties, and garter belts seem like a perfect pick for a special occasion but can probably be worn on a daily basis if you feel like wearing lace every day.

The sassy touch to the collection is the peek-a-boo sets that definitely leave less to imagination than the rest of the range but still look pretty alluring due to bow decoration and lace fabric used.

Though made of very soft fabrics the bras give perfect support while panties range from tango to thong.

We love the line for its tangibly felt romantic and sexy essence.

We all like shows lingerie brands organize for us to present their fabulous creations. Just remember Victoria’s Secret’s overwhelming underwear parade with all those sumptuous designs, accessories and models’ playful walking.

The theme for today is Allure fashion show at the Fashion Exposed trade fair in Melbourne, Australia. Beautiful sets were demonstrated to the guests of the event.

Some ensembles were really chic. They came in rich saturated colors and included not only traditional two pieces but also lacy stockings, garters and fur items.

However, there were lots of designs that didn’t look attractive at all. They were made of simple fabrics and combined with each other with little success.

We didn’t like the white set with light pink lace insets, the black bodysuit that looked more like a swimsuit rather than a lingerie piece, etc.

If 50 years ago people admired synthetic materials and their ‘perfect’ characteristics, now we all try to find natural ones to make our bodies feel comfortable and skin breathe.

The lingerie range presented by Goldenpoint for Spring 2010 is all made of pure cotton and silk fabrics that look nice and provide lots of comfort. The pieces aren’t very bright but they do look good and delicate.

The collection isn’t much diverse and includes a few babydolls and beautiful ensembles. See and enjoy the pictures!

Triumph sues Beyonce for her underwear

Lingerie manufacturer Triumph filed a lawsuit against Sony bosses for copying one of the brand’s designs in the music video for ‘Video Phone’ by Beyonce Knowles and Lady GaGa.

Triumph claims Bey’s black-and-white two-piece is the direct copy of the lingerie set created by Bulgarian designer Iskren Lozanov.

During the court hearing, Sony lawyers claimed the piece was inspired by Spanish artist Pablo Picasso, FemaleFirst.co.uk reported. However, the judge has recently dismissed the claim stating that Lozanov’s design is too unique to be similar to any other design known.

Sony and Beyonce are going to appeal the decision, but so far ‘Video Phone’ is doomed to be associated with lingerie plagiarism.

Gemma Atkinson Poses For Lingerie Photoshoot

Gemma Atkinson is a famous English actress, television personality and a model. And she always looks good no matter what she wears. Even horrible pieces will look nice on this curvy girl.

And these ensembles look pretty on her though if we consider those separately they would be called unflattering, which is the most delicate word.

First, the pieces come in the worst colors possible. We’ve never heard anyone saying green underwear is sexy. Secondly, the sets seem to hold Gemma’s treasures badly. For the photo shoot this might be all right, but for real wear they won’t be comfortable enough.

So, why taking pictures of the lingerie that is unpleasant to look at?

Britney Spears is lingerie sexy for Candie’s S/S 2010 ads

Pop princess and mother-of-two Britney Spears shows her toned body in the new series of ad campaigns for Candie’s Only at Kohl’s ads. In some of the shots for the Spring/Summer 2010 collection, Brit dons a floral bra, matching frilly panties and fuchsia peep-toe heels posing with a huge teddy bear.

The new campaign was shot in late 2009 with three renowned photographers involved. The lingerie shoot was shot by Terry Richardson. The other two photographers are Annie Leibovitz, Mark Seliger

After the lingerie shoot Britney said she was extremely proud to be working with such famed photographers and was sure her fans would love the new ads:

The new series of ads will soon appear in fashion magazines and billboards, as well as at candies.com and kohls.com.
