Roksanda Ilincic & Damaris S/S 2009 lingerie range
One of the most famous fashion designers of the day, Belgrad-born Roksanda Ilincic teamed up with lingerie brand Damaris to create a limited edition of super exquisite, ubersexy, and, frankly speaking, expensive lingerie for Spring/Summer 2009 underwear season.
The capsule collection comes in muted tones of pale lemon yellow and rhubarb pink. Each piece is delicately draped, twisted and hand finished. For the range, the two designers used so-summer-typical fabrics as silk chiffon and silk organza. To finish the look some lingerie pieces are decorated with Swarovski crystals.
It was really exciting to do this limited edition collaboration with Damaris,” Roksanda Ilincic said. “The goal was to create a dreamy and ethereal atmosphere, infused with a little bit of unexpected surprise – like the split on the back of the knickers.”
The range is aimed at petite bodies with sizes varying from 32 to 36, B – D.
The lingerie averagely retails for £85 ($140)– £242 ($400) with the cheapest pair of panties cost you £80 ($130).
