The Balconette bra is also known as a shelf bra, and is a more revealing version of a demi bra. It provides just over half the coverage of the breasts and adds a sexier and more luxurious look.

The front middle part of the bra is slightly different in design to the demi bra and appears not to be as straight across the breasts and the chest below, that helps to add shape to the bust line.
