Kellan Lutz, Mehcad Brooks strip for Calvin Klein X Underwear
Twilight Saga hunk Kellan Lutz and his True Blood fellow actor Mehcad Brooks are featured in the first photos from Calvin Klein’s X Underwear campaign.
The new campaign also features tennis pro Fernando Verdasco and Japanese athlete Hidetoshi Nakata, but Kellan and Mehcad’s ads are the first to be revealed.
In the new ads the actors are spotted wearing CK’s underwear that’s made of cotton modal (for softness and breathability) and premium microfiber. Every pair of pants features an embossed ‘X’ over the Calvin Klein logo on the waistband’s front patch.
As to the ad campaign, CK Underwear CCO Bob Mazzoli said the company was “thinking bold, graphic, and provocative, as always.”
The campaign was shot in New York City by Mikael Jansson. Darius Khondji shot digital films that will feature Kellan and the other new models on a new CK website to be revealed later this month.
The first ads will run in Vanity Fair starting March 9, 2010. They will also be featured in other magazines later this year.
