Madonna’s Iconic Bustier Sold For Impressive $72,000!
The bustier with gold sequins and black nipple tassels, worn by Madonna on her 1987 Who’s That Girl world tour was sold for an impressive $72,000 (£45,000) at Julien’s Auctions that took place on Saturday last week.
Other Madonna’s belongings that exceeded pre-action estimates included a signed copy of her 1992 Sex book (initially valued $800 – $1,200) which was sold for ($3,200); and a recording of the song Simon Says was expected to bring $600 – $800 but finally made $1,216. In total 23 items of Madonna memorabilia were on sale. They made over $100,000.
The action also sold 516 more items of celebrity memorabilia from stars including Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley and Princess Diana.
