Real Mums, Real Fit Campaign by Cake Lingerie
It’s always nice when labels, magazines or designers choose real people to pose for them. It boosts other people’s confidence in that they are the same and beautiful. Rel Mums, Real Fit is a campaign by Cake Lingerie label, in which real women pregnant or breast-feeding were chosen to pose in Cake‘s latest collection “Let them Eat Cake”.
Welcome Real Mums!
Anniina Turunen, 28, is pregnant with her first child. She lives in Helsinki, has Master of Arts and is an office worker. Anniina thinks that ‘Real Mums, Real Fit’ competition is a way to memorize her pregnancy.
Terhi Valkeapää, 34, is a mum of two, lives in Espoo. Her interest in campaign was that it featured real women, not models.
Rita Aalto-Saari, 34, is first-time pregnant. Rita also thinks that ‘Real Mums, Real Fit’ campaign is the perfect way to make her pregnancy even more memorable.
Johanna Palviainen, 28, first-time mum is a Master of Economic Sciences, she is also studying law. The reason for her taking part in the competition was to encourage women to be proud of their curvy figures during pregnancy.
Real mums are unretouched and looking great. The whole essence of the campaign was to celebrate pregnant women as they are and make them feel beautiful. I guess Cake achieved their goals as these real mums are shining with confidence, beauty and joy.
